“Innocence” was inspired by the recent turmoils in the middle east, a place where the youth was forced to abandon the precious time of adolescence and was driven to fight to restore an uncertain future. In its 10 song length, the album gives space also to other lyrical themes, as reflections upon death, life and how we live it.

With influences like Gojira, Lamb of God, Pantera, Arch Enemy and Meshuggah,  Veins accomplished to copy none of the above and established an unique sound and songwriting. Incorporating classic elements of Death Metal and Thrash Metal, like heavy chugs and fast tempos, the songwriting focuses on balancing dynamics and variations in a unique way.
